Kapahaka- William

Kapahaka!

Today a kapahaka group came to perform for Frankley School. Room 11 were hosting them. We had a shared morning tea. When we were eating we had to make a conversation with a person from the group. Me Billie and Janelle wanted to do it together we went to a nice girl from the group.

She had her cousin who was a baby we had a conversation with her. Until she went away to get more food. My favourite song in the performance was the last song they did. There was a boy that was the same size as Mr Ritai and he was only twelve years old! It was really cool seeing them perform for us.

They were really nice to come and perform for us. The girls who did the poi were really talented. All of them singing together sounder awesome.

They boys where really good I liked it when they did the Haka.

  2. William, my younger boys told me that 'the chief' had come to talk to them a lunchtime. They were most impressed. I didn't tell them that he was only four years older than them!
