I heard a truck coming our way the truck stopped. I saw giant people come out with huge nets I kept my eye on one of them but then a net got me from behind. I squeaked  and scratched the air and all the man did was laugh.

 

I was trapped

 Next Mrs McA helped me identify the key ideas in my story and I rewrote them.

Rewritten
Sinking my feet into the burning sand, waves crashing in the back round .The sun glaring at me like he was about to eat me. I was at the beach at Oakura where we were camping.

 I got so hot I decided I would go in the cool, fresh water only for a paddle, so I walked into the water very slowly when I got in it was tremendously cold.

I turn around just for a second but a second was too long, when I turned around I got struck by the most biggest the most baldest wave I have ever seen in my life one moment I was up the next moment I was down in the cold salty sea water

I got soaked but in the end I soldered on and went home. !!!!!

To write my story I had to ...

Write my story twice

Then I had to highlight the main parts.

I kept the highlighted parts and changed the other parts.

Then I published my story on the computer.

  Then Lucy and I used Natural Reader to check the punctuation.

We found some punctuation to put in.

Now I am done!!

My diary 1n the 1950s

 

Dear diary I woke up and the man of the house was already at work I found a note that said

 

Sorry I left so early for work but when I return dinner must be cooked the kids have to be feed and washed and the clothes if the clothes aren’t washed l will be mad

 

So I washed and feed the kids I cooked dinner and cleaned the house and then took of my cleaning clothes and had a rest, four minutes later the door swung open and then I heard a big I’M HOME

 

I jumped with fright ''welcome back''

 he said are the kids feed, washed and put to bed and is dinner cooked and are the clothes clean yes, yes and yes ''ok good now show me dinner!''

We ate but I was just a bit frightened to talk

Billie K - Seal Entry

I sat down. "I'm ready," I said with excitement. Then Mrs McA let go and I plunged into the water. I did't get wet or fall in. And I DID it! and I was relieved. I did it again and again.

Each time I held on tight to the paddle, tight against my chest. Suddenly I slowly started moving.
"Are you ready?" said Mrs McA.

"Yes," I replied. My paddle brushed against the bushes and then SPLASH!. Water flowed into my kayak.
