Traped-Nikki

The net came crashing down onto us. We chewed and chewed our best but there was NO way we could get free. Later on they were never going to get out. Then someone came charging like a bull right at us.

They came and picked us up, were we are going,? I do not know. We got eventually, they let go. We asked " Were are we?"

"Somewhere"

" Were"

" You will find out"

The truck rumbled down the road.

Nikki- KOALAS stroy

I love Koalas as they have fluffy, silky grey hair. They look so cute, i could cuddle them.

Koalas like to eat eucalyptus leaves, they also sleep most of the day because they are nocturnal.

Koalas are also part of the marsupial family, their are called a "joey". The mother gives birth to the joey . the joey then climbs its way up to the pouch. In the pouch the joey grows.

Ones the joey laves its mothers pouch it starts to eat eucalyptus leaves for the first time in its life. but before this the joey will eat the "Pap" which comes from the mother and helps give the joey the good bacteria for its intestines. So that the joey can eat eucalyptus leaves.

Nikki- HOLIDAY!!!!

                                                      October school holiday

Today our family went to the skyline in luge in rotorua. Mikayla, Daddy and I went together on the luge and then to the jelly belly jelly beans shop. Once we had finished shopping at the jelly belly we went to rainbow springs .We went on the big splash which told us stories about the old days in New Zealand. At the end of the boat ride, you go down a large slide at the bottom you get splashed with water. We did the big splash twice, the second time it made me feel sick inside, YUCK!!!!!!! We went through the gift shop, but saw noting we liked. So then we went to the mini putt. Rotoroa’s mini putt course was hard because there were penties for when your, ball landed on the water or land. Finally we went to the 3D maze. I ran to do the maze, thinking that it was easy but, I was wrong it was difficult. Mikayla found the first coloured corners and I found the last three. I was really hot from the burning sun so we get an ice block, YUM!!!!!!Off we went to go to toupo. In toupo we stayed at wairakie resort hotel they had spa pools, fitness centre, tennis court, playground, two swimming pools, squash court and two restarts. We had breakfast every morning they had fruit, cereal, bacon, hash brown, suger, eggs and toast. We went to have dinner at the fairway restaurant the best part of the meal was dessert. On Friday we went to white water world river adventure. At the 4D ride they made us sit in special seats Mikayla and I in the front, Mummy daddy in the back. We got some 3D glasses. Then the ride started to move within a few seconds water started pouring out on us from nozzles. We watch people rafting down two rive one being the tongarino river and the other one being the kaituna river. In the afternoon we had a swim. We got mcds for tea Mikayla and I had a fillet-o-fish and Daddy had one too and a big mac. We ate it at the park side near Lake Taupo. I LIKED OUR HOLIDAY.

Room 11 Self Managers - Shanra, Lucy, Nikki and Brylee

Looking after the Pizza Orders This is a big job for the classrooms. We have to be very accurate when taking the orders. It can be a problem when we get late orders - please get them to us before 9.00. Thanks - our profits go towards camps and extra resources for our classrooms.

   100 WC

I could feel the slimy sluggish pest crawls along the lake as I pull and pull it was not going to move. When I try my best to pull it out of the water but it would not come out. I had to get three people to help me to pull it out of the water. We pulled and pulled but it would not move but we got five more people to help us.We pulled and pulled and at the end we pulled as hard as we can then it came out ya.
