                         TRAPPED

I squeaked in terror. Then I felt weak as the thick black shadow covered me. The big net came over me, I felt powerless. I tried to squeak for help but all that came out was a little ''Squeak''!

I ran around the net franticly, ''What were they going to do with me''? ''Where were they going to bring me''? ''Will I die?"
 ''BANG"! I was in this big truck, then I was off with the tall giants.

Today, all the year sixes that are going to Highlands intermediate next year are going to Highlands today it is because it is Orientation day, I can’t wait! I am a little bit nervous.

 

_{I’m excited because I get to see the school and classes, and I think Mr Shaw will show us around, and my Mum said that there is going to be an Assembly and they are going to tell us about Highlands, my Mum said to listen, I think they tell the rules and about their school.}

 

_{I am nervous because it is a Big school and there are big kids, and when it comes to bullying or teasing I don’t really stick up for myself. But there are some small people at Highlands.}

_{What happened after I’ve been:}

_{It was very great! There was nothing to be worried about! Everything was 100% AWESOME, The Kappa Hakka group sang and did the Hakka, they had really good voices. Their voices are all doing different tunes like high pitch and low, it’s like the Choir too. When the principal (Mr Shaw) gave me a sheet about Highlands I said thank you nice and clear and he kept on saying how lovely it was to say thank you, HE is the lovely one. I wasn’t expecting that!}

Slimy slippery lumpy vicious wriggling fish, I drop the fish in shock, the fish is moving side to side all over on the boat floor, I am screaming in terror the fish tripped me up. I fell to the ground with a huge thump. Pain shooting around my body, the fish wriggling on top of me I scream and scream for help everyone comes out. The look on their faces was the biggest grin. They finally got that terrible horrible strange fish off me! FINALLY OFF! I never ever want to go fishing again!! No one can make me!

Monday	I got rescued from a lab by a nice girl called Millie
Tuesday	She hid me under the bed to protect me from the giant(mum) she gave me Weetabix for breakfast
Wednesday	The room was really messy but then she decided to tidy it for some weird reason?  Her mum figured they were running out of cereal and soon would find me
Thursday	I figured out why she was tidying her room because it stops mum (giant) from invading the bedroom.
Friday	The mum came in looking around in her tidy room but I was hidden.
Saturday	The giant came in with pancakes I needed some but I was found!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lucky mum let  Millie keep me
Sunday	I was happy

Shower disaster!

I was singing along rubbing my hair with nice smelling shampoo. I was finished, so I turned off the shower. I grabbed the towel off the hook…

 

Wait a minute where’s my clothes? “Oh” whoops I left my clothes in my room. It is a long way past the door.

 

No worry’s I will get it DING DONG oh no my neighbour is here! I had to get past the door into my room. This is not the right timing; I should have known that she was coming!  WRONG TIME!!!!

 

WHAT SHOULD I DO? I had to get past the door. So I...

 

  Snuck out of the bathroom. The cold air breathed on my face. I ran past the FRONT door into my room. EVEN WORSE! THE neighbour gasped, mum turned around shocked dad watching rugby dropped his mouth, my heart was thumping on my chest like elephants stomping their humongous feet. Phew I made it!!

Spotlight

"Ok, remember  we have to stick together," said William to me and Janelle. 

A s we were climbing up we could hear the wind howl and the spotlight was shimmering into my eyes.

"Duck," I whispered softly to William and Janelle.  All of - a –

sudden William drifted away into the darkness,  Janelle and I were all alone.  “William, “William, “William? I whispered looking around. It was pitch black, you could only see spotlight and shadows of people, crawling up the hill, “Duck” I whispered. 

So we sat there for a while waiting for the spotlight to stop shining on Janelle and I.

 “Ow’’! I shouted. 

”What”? whispered Janelle,
 “I got stung by a wasp," I panicked.

“I will get some help” said Janelle. 

We went down the hill and went to bed.
