TRAPPED ~ Cooper

We are writing the scene talked about in our class book. The rats tell about when they were living in a village and went to the Sunday market to eat the leftovers. The men from the laboratory come and capture some. This is that part written. Can you build up pictures in your head from our writing. can you imagine the scene?




The leftovers were delicious. There was so much leftovers we`re having are food will last for a week.  we were really full then.

I heard people surrounding me. I saw a net and I made a run for it. we couldn't run anywhere so we all cuddled up in the middle...... Where am I? I woke up in this cage looking thing.

I'm going to tell you the most yummy story ever. Your mouth will water when you hear this.

My mouth waters as I get closer and closer. I couldn't wait to taste the mouth watering delights. I picked up the slim chip and put it in my mouth, it was so yum. I picked up the burger and I was about to go to food heaven. I was going to eat the nuggets but I took a drink of frozen fanta first. I dipped the nugget into the sweet and sour sauce and bit into the most delicious meat in the world.

I'm just about to fit one more thing in and it is a McFlurry. I had a spoon of the McFlurry and tasted it like a judge. I would give it a 10/10.

How rats got to nz

Rats came from Asia and Europe but how they got to nz they came on ships and a waka. The thing that people don't like is they damage the birds and the bush. It is though that pacific rats also known as kiore came with the first Polynesian settlers about 1250-1300.

mon-	Today a girl called Millie Rescued  me  from the lab. And took me to her home. And hid me under her bed.
tue-	Today when Millie went to school her mum came in to look under her bed I don’t know why . but she saw me, and she took me out of my cage and started to play with me, until Millie  Got home.
wed-	In the morning i’m still in the boring cage. Then I hear footsteps coming into the room. It’s mum she pulls out the cages and starts to play with me and she also threw me up into the air.
thurs-	in the afternoon  when Millie came back home she took me out of the cage and let me run around and around her room.
fri-	In the morning my cage was popping out from under the bed and when Millie got out of of bed her foot got stuck in my cage. and she started to shake the cage back and forth with her foot.
sat-	finally  Millie is staying  in the house today Millie got me out and played all day!

Wonderful rats!

These animals are so fluffy. They can climb walls and twitch their noses like a cat. The wormy tail squiggles around like a helicopter. They sleep a lot in there green hammock with their tails out. They have got beady eyes and short fur.

Production Feeleings - Cooper

PRODUTION   FEELINGS! By Cooper

When I got to the TSB stadium  it looked pretty cool because when we went down stairs[the green room] all the actors were in the greenroom. I got there at 6.00 and everyone else did too, When I got there I got changed into my prodution clothes and went in the practis room and waited until it was  showtime.

Finaly we got on the stage and then the gause came up and the first song was kotahitanga then fire flies then Kung Fu Fighting then in the navy. And a hole lot of other stuff, It was really boaring and tiring.  Because your`e just  sitting there and singing songs.

 

 When it was over I waited until I could go from to A-Z. When I got out I got a powerade from my mum and went home.

I was worried as Mrs McA pushed me down the bank. My kayak nose hit first on the lake and splashed onto the back of the kayak. I was so relieved that I did NOT fall off but then I going straight towards a tree! I tried turning and it worked but I leaned to the left and fell out! I hated the mud in water. It’s like squishing gooey slime I jumped on the kayak because I didn’t like the gooey mud.

frankley ossies first game

On saturday 16th of February the Frankley ossies had theirfirst game for the year againsed Oakura blacks. Jake was captain and won the toss and then chose to field. Keiran opened the bowling and got one wicket in his first over. Oakura ended up with a total of 85 runs. Kieran opened batting with Oscar. Kieran got over 25 runs and in 10 short overs we won but kept on playing ending up whith 125 runs. Well done to all the players for a great game.by jake
