Guess what this is called - Chocolate Cake
Now by your self or with a partner - write a story , or a descriptive piece of writing. Make it sund as good as you can for your reader. For your labels, put your name and also 100WC.
Look at this example - what has this author done at the end? Why was Mary crying in the toilet? Can you write so the author has to work out what has happened without you actually telling them.
Too Much Chocolate Cake
“Ew, this cake tastes terrible,” moaned Jessica.“Let’s get Mary to eat it, otherwise we’ll get into trouble for wasting our parents’ money and she’ll listen to us because she’s a loser!” suggested Laura.
Without asking, Jessica threw her vile cake onto Mary’s plate, demanding that she ate it. Laura and many others copied.
Looking at all that chocolate cake made Mary feel dreadful.
At the end of lunch, Laura and Jessica spotted Mary, in the toilets, with red eyes and a wet face.
“Guess what…Mary’s being a crybaby. No wonder she’s so unpopular,” they announced in front of everybody.
Or try this one - you must include these words
… as the train entered the tunnel ….
