 “Can I sleep on the couch tonight’’

“But you were just walking around”

‘’I just tripped over the carpet’’

‘’Oh no shall I call the ambulance and get it chopped off’’

‘’I can’t find my pj’s’’

‘’Put a sock in your mouth and get into bed all ready’’

‘’They’re right here on the couch’’

‘’Mummy’’

‘’Yes I’m listening’’

‘’I don’t really want to go to bed because’’

‘’Spit it out’’

‘’There’s a weta in my bed and mummy I’m scared of wetas’’

‘’I’m sure I can get that out there darling’’
