Patch's reflection on today
I really liked learning about learning. It made me think about if there was on learning the world would not be the same.
I think that learning can really help me to become smarter.
connor's learning
Today I learnt a new game it is called six ball. You have to pass the ball to the player in your team six times. You had to think about strategies - find space, on defense get in front of thr others and intercep the ball.
Kieran's learning
Today I learnt a new game called 6 ball. The objective of the game is to pass the ball round within your team mates until you get the ball passed around 6 times.
I like the game because because it was a really active and fast and technological game.
You also had to think lots and lots.

As I flung my head back as I went soaring through the air like a whizzing tournado scooping up everything in its path. Then pooof. I thought it had stopped but no I was wrong as it started swirling around again. My head was dizzy with sudden suprise. My mind was lost as it started to get faster. I was lost MINDLESS.

Learning......
What is learning?
- It is a way to Communicate with the world.
- It is a way to discover who we really are in OUR life.
- It is a part of our personality and who we are.
What are the steps of learning?
- Learning it simply by the basics.
- Experimenting with it, it doesn't matter if you get it wrong.
- Perfecting it.
- Teaching it to others.
How do you know when you have learnt something?
- When you feel you are capable to teach others and make something REALLY happen in the world.
You must WANT to learn something before you TRY to learn something.

Journal - One hour of my life
Journal— One hour of my life
I raced through the bush, under the electric fence into the horse paddock. Every time I do this I get REALLY dirty. Mum usually gets angry if the clothes are my jeans and a good t-shirt. I could see the horses, munching the fresh, crispy green grass. I could hear the CLIP CLOP of the horse hooves as the horses trot about. I went up to Billy Jo and felt her soft, silky coat and the tangled mane that I love to untangle and plait again and again. I walked around her keeping my hand on her back so she knows where I am.
This could be VERY DANGEROUS if you don’t know how to act around horses. She nuzzles up to me when I get back around, trapping me in her neck. I could smell the warm, grassy breath of her. I went over to Deanna. She is another horse that is with the R.D.A, she is black with a white star on her forehead. She is a beautiful mare calm and gentle I think they are very LUCKY to have her. Billy Jo came up to us, I hugged them both and they wrapped their necks around me so tight I couldn’t breathe. When they finally let go they start to look anxious. I checked my watch it was the time they usually start running about. They do this usually around the same time every day. I walked to the fence and watched them run around for a bit. It makes me feel as if I was drifting away from where I was watching
and feel like I was running free with them.

My Diary in the 1950's By Brylee
Rapare, 6th of June
We don’t have a fan at home I just suffer. It’s not very nice trying to clean the house with a pooy smell in the air and he gets to work with air fresher. but on the other side all he can see is a grumpy boss and a pile of work. When I get to see my children and a nice clean house at the end. So that’s my life good and bad…..

1952 Diary
17th June 1952
Dear Diary, Today my husband, Bob, went to work as usual and left me a note:
This is what happens every day! He just leaves me to clean everything up, put everything away, get the children clean and cook the dinner. The children almost never get to see him he is always going off everywhere to meetings. Every day I am used to this but today I had just had enough! Why can’t we swap lives for a month! But I suppose I have to work otherwise he will NOT give me my weekly pay. I wish that with a snap of my fingers all my work will be done! But unfortunately that’s not how it works.
So, to start off the day, I whizzed my hair up into my curlers and got to work. I scrubbed the dishes so well that I could see my reflection! I could really feel my arms aching from doing the dishes when I was vacuuming the children’s rooms.
At lunchtime I made some sandwiches with sausages and tomato, then after we had all eaten, straight away I got back to work with bathing and showering the children until they were as shiny as the clean dishes in the draw! I picked out some clothes for them and then I shimmied them into their clothes and then sent them to their rooms to read.
I started on the dinner, I popped the chicken into the oven and prepared a salad. When I finished the dinner I laid it on the table and quickly whipped around the house tidying and straitening until it was spic and span.
I zoomed back to my bedroom and took my curlers out of my hair and got out of my cleaning clothes and lay down on the couch for a rest, when suddenly the door burst open and it was Bob he was home early!
“Is everything clean, is I all tidy, is the dinner ready? Where are the children?” He exclaimed.
“Yes…Yes and Yes…. Oh and the children are in their rooms reading, waiting for you to get home.”
“Oh Mara, You work too hard, here is your weekly pay” he said as he handed me some money, wait a minute; this is DOUBLE my normal pay. I looked up at Bob, he smiled, “Thank you Bob, thank you”.
Dear Diary, Today my husband, Bob, went to work as usual and left me a note:
I am so sorry I had to leave so early I had a meeting
That I could not miss, it depends on my whole job!
If everything is not done I will NOT be happy.
See you tonight.
The life of a husband and wife in the 1950's
1950’s
Woman: Hi my name is Samantha and I’m a house wife. Every day all I do is clean and clean and cook and so much more!!! My husband goes out and works all day, man would I like to be him. It must be awesome seeing the city during the week. I just wish I could have a day out with the girls. But no its just kids and my husband. Well I do get to go out on the odd Friday night.
1950's Man: Hello my name is mike and I’m an ordinary man from the 1950s. I work all day every day, its not that fun. I mean I have to deal with being late for work due to the traffic and my boss isn’t that nice either. Sometimes I wish I got to stay home all day like my wife. Sometimes I think that my wife thinks that my job would be awesome, yeah right. Its horrible and painful, well mentally painful. But it’s just life.
