Seal Entey By Janelle!!!
Seal
entry
I
was filled with excitement. I felt happy. Mrs Mca was holding the back of my
kayak. She let go whoosh!!! I went flying down the sloop. Splash the nose of my
kayak went in the water. I wanted to do it again.

I
shot out like a bullet but I was in a kayak. I was fast like a seal. Some of the kayak kids
did the seal entry. The front of the kayak went into the water. I was in a fat
kayak. I did it in a thinner one too. My dad Leith pulled my group in the
kayaks out of the water. We got to sit in the kayaks. I could go forwards, backwards,
turn and go sideways. I was nervous. I put the paddle on my chest. I felt like
I was going to flip out of it!

entry
When
I sat in my kayak I look at the hill. I was a little bit unsure about going
down into the water Mrs McA let go of the kayak and I slipped down the
hill Splash, I plunged into the water. I
carried on in my wet kayak. I went up the
hill again . This time I was a little bit more confident. I was siding down
the hill and I hit myself on the lip with the paddlee and the trees nearly
threw me off the kayak . I glided onto the water then it was time to leave .

I was worried as Mrs McA pushed me down the bank. My kayak nose hit first on the lake and splashed onto the back of the kayak. I was so relieved that I did NOT fall off but then I going straight towards a tree! I tried turning and it worked but I leaned to the left and fell out! I hated the mud in water. It’s like squishing gooey slime I jumped on the kayak because I didn’t like the gooey mud.
