Friday 6^th of December                                                      

We are on our way to the market. I can’t wait to feast on the food. Then these random guys come around the corner and ruin it. They charge at us like a stampede of elephant’s. I yelled "Run!" and ran for my life. I heard a swoosh, a net came flying down. I leaped away from the net and zoomed off in to the shadows, but another net came down.
"Got you," said the man. I tried to nibble through the net but the material was stronger than metal. I’m watching the others get swiped into the nets.

I was terrified but when I figured out where we were going this was just the beginning.

My tramping trip

Saturday   morning I was watching TV at my house and my friend named Joseph called me and asked me if I wanted to go for a tramp up the mountain and I said yes.  I got my gear ready for the trip then Joseph came with his uncle to come get me.

When we got there I couldn't wait to start walking

We were only a little bit in to the mountain and I heard there was boar a.k.a wild boar  was in here I wanted to run out I only had a knife but I kept on walking.

Then we walked up so high we got up to 500 feet and I started getting hard to breath but it was just me overreacting.

It was really dark in the mountain but not to fare ahead I could see light and I ran out of the thick trees and there was a hut I look down the mountain we attest 1200 feet above sea level.

In the hut there was a bench with chars and a big room

With two bunk beds the beds could fit at least 12 people at once. Outside there was a toilet and a solar panel and a great view off the mountain. We walked around for a while then we start to walk back down the mountain. We just got back into the bush I was still a little worried about the boar but my Joseph uncle was striking us So I kept on walking. A Little bit down the mountain Joseph and I started running when we got out  Josephs uncle was a little bit angry with us but he was fine and we finally went  home.            by Eli.

Kung Fu

Last night Taylor and I went to our Kung Fu lesson.

 As we started we sat down to hear how got there yellow belt's.

 That’s because on the first Sunday of the holidays we went to grading and we showed Sefu our
Kung Fu.

On the day I was really nevous, I just felt like going home but when it was finished I was glad it was all over.

Kung Fu Grading - Eli

 Has Eli written this in a way so you can sense his nervousness?



I just wanted to bang my head on the wall. This is what happens when something is bugging me. I was wishing I could just knock myself out to stop the nervous feeling.

On Sunday I,m going to my Kung Fu grading. All the Kung Fu classes in Taranaki are going to be there. my class are going for our yellow belt.  I'm still a white belt but I'm still very good at it.

The grading is at Palmerston North - SUNDAY!!

Rat Trap - Eli

Rat trap

I was getting ready for school and I saw my dad setting up a rat trap. I asked him what he wanted it for, he said he herd a rat crawling around the roof.

When I got home I asked if it went off but it didn't  When I got ready for bed I asked again it still didn't go off but in the middle of night. “SNAP” I ran out in to the lounge there was nothing there so I went bake in to bed.

 The next morning I got out of bed and went in to the kitchen and my dad was holding a big black rat. The rat was dead It was dangling on the massive trap, its head has nearly fallen clean off. Blood was rushing down the massive rat.  

 My  dad took the rat outside I don’t know where he put’s them.    He probably  buried them.

Room16’s teacher Mrs KneepKens is talking about goals and ambitions . Mrs KneepKens used to be pauls teacher as well. The children sent letters to paul and he came to visit room16 . HE CEPED ON COMEING TO SEE HOW THER DOING WITH THERE GOALS.

Inter school football win 4/0- Eli

• Inter school soccer  team win 4/0

  Where the game was played:

 The soccer match was held at Frankley school .   Frankley School have 232 students.

 

   what the teams are :

   There was two teams one was  Frankley and the other team was Central . the Frankley team had gold and white uniforms. The Central team had gold and black uniforms

    The score:     

 The score was 4/0 to Frankley . after the game we had a little lunch then we went to class . who scored:  

 Julian scored two and Gregor scored one, Curtis scored one . but the team helped them score the  goals.

When I sat in my kayak I look at the hill. I was a little bit unsure about going down into the water  Mrs McA  let go of the kayak and I slipped down the hill  Splash, I plunged into the water. I carried on in  my wet kayak. I went up the hill again . This time I was a little bit more confident. I was siding down the hill and I hit myself on the lip with the paddlee and the trees nearly threw me off the kayak . I glided onto the water then it was time to leave .
